Rainét Spence

Rainét N. Spence is an attorney at ELS. She earned her law degree at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. During her time there she served as the Manager Editor of the 58th Volume of Family Court Review, President of the Black Law Students Association, and a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Rainét is published in the 58th Volume of the Family Court Review. Her note is titled, Saved by the Bell: Reclaiming Home Court Advantage for At-Risk Youth Funneled Into the School-to-Prison Pipeline. Rainét was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Eileen Bransten of the New York County, Supreme Court, Commercial Division and was a student attorney with the Community and Economic Development Clinic at Hofstra.
