Briana Blackwell is a 2L at Georgia State University School of Law School. She is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. Prior to attending law school, Briana worked in financial services and regulatory compliance. She also worked as a paralegal at a global investment company and as a contract analyst at a communications infrastructure company. While in law school, Briana has worked as a judicial intern with the DeKalb County Superior Court for the Honorable Shondeana Morris through the Gate City Bar Association Summer Associate Program. She has also worked as a graduate research assistant for a contract law professor and is currently a student attorney for the Health Law Partnership (HeLP) Legal Services Clinic at her school.

Briana has a passion for helping others. She started a mentoring program for high school students while at Penn State and served on several social justice committees and community organization projects. She has also served on the executive board for her local NAACP chapter and volunteered and taught at secondary schools. In Briana’s spare time, she enjoys attending sporting events, bowling, trying new restaurants, fashion, and walking on the Beltline.
